I was honored to co-host the 12 Days of Christmas Cast Member Marketplace today with Mike Collier! This virtual event, sponsored by Lifebridge Church and Lend Florida, is going on every day at 12:00 Noon EST from December 12th through the 23rd. This is such a great event that was created to support the community of Disney cast members that are now laid off or furloughed. We’ve all read the headlines talking about how many cast members have been laid off, but it’s great to get to know them as individuals and see their faces. How to Support a Cast Member’s Business
This year, more than ever before, we have realized the importance of shopping small and supporting local businesses. Many of the cast members that were laid off this year are pouring their passion and talents into side hustles turned full-time jobs. I want to share a few simple things you can do to support them in their current roles:
- Like or follow their accounts on social media
- Share their accounts on social media and engage with the things they post
- Leave an encouraging comment
- Tune in each day during the 12 Days of Christmas broadcast and share the link so others can watch
- Make a purchase from their online shop!
- Leave a great review!
