DIY Dollar Store Lavender and Lambs Ear Wreath

Sarah Lempon March 4, 2020992

I’m joining a group of friends today to bring you a huge round-up of DIY wreathes for Spring! See how I created this pretty Spring wreath using supplies from the Dollar Tree!

Dollar Store Lavender and Lambs Ear Wreath

When I first saw these lavender and lambs ear stems show up at the Dollar Tree, I knew I had to do something with them! If you hurry to your local Dollar Tree, you may still find these in stock. Every once in a while, something shows up at the Dollar Tree that could easily sell for so much more at any other store. I used around 15 stems to create this wreath, as well as one grapevine wreath form from the Dollar Tree and a hot glue gun.

What to Do

With any wreath using silk flowers, I almost always recommend cutting them down and removing the leaves. The leaves are the cheapest looking part of most silk flowers, however, I chose to leave them on for this project! I was really happy with the quality of these stems, so I left a few leaves on each. I cut each stem down to a couple inches using wire cutters and started working my way around the wreath. I varied the color of lavender and then filled everything in with the lambs ear clusters. I use a dab of hot glue on the end of each stem.

I hope this has inspired you to create something pretty this Spring!
Now, be sure to check out all the other ideas below!

I’ve used these lavender stems on many projects, but this is absolutely beautiful. You’d never know the supplies came from Dollar Tree. I love the color of your door, too!
