Welcome to my home!
I loooove this time of year, and I love having the opportunity to invite ya’ll in for a visit!!
I am joining in on a Christmas tour of homes with some other amazing bloggers, hosted by the one and only, Carrie from Lovely Etc. Be sure to go on to the rest of their beautiful homes after you finished visiting with me. All the girls in the tour have also gone in together to offer an awesome $500 giveaway! Be sure to enter at the bottom of this post!
I kind of describe my style as clean/eclectic/colorful. I love pastels, clean walls and bright pops of color, gallery walls, stripes, turquoise and sparkly things. I especially love working my every day style in with my Christmas decor. I purchased this white tree last year and I just love it! Doesn’t a white tree look so clean and fun? Of course I still love the look of a traditional tree, so I have 2 of those up as well!
I really want my home to feel inviting and cozy, clean yet lived in. I like things tidy, but I never want friends and guests to feel stiff or uncomfortable. We live here, ya’ll! It doesn’t usually look quite this clean, but it’s home tour day after all…
You might be interested in seeing some of the before pictures of my home! You can find them here: The Lemp Nest. You can also check out my Christmas home tour from last year, here.
My adorable reindeer pillow is from Target, all other pillows are IKEA.
Tree is from Hobby Lobby, gold terrarium is Anthropologie.
See my post about painting my piano here!!
A while back, I ditched the formal dining room chairs that came with our set. Instead, we opted for mismatched chairs that literally came from the trash! I spray painted them different colors to create more of a farmhouse feel, without totally ditching this beautiful table we spent good money on!
I also removed the shades from my chandelier and use Edison style bulb (like these) instead!
You can find a tablecloth like the one pictured below, here.
The cute little potted, sparkly greens came from The Home Depot (my own vintage pots of course)!
Almost everything seen here is from Target! The JOY sign, boxwood wreath and copper tray are all Threshold from Target. The Sparkle sign is TJMaxx and the Banner is Hobby Lobby.
Here is a similar boxwood and copper tray.
I recently fixed up this vintage, 1956 travel trailer and our family enjoyed it like crazy this Summer and Fall! Read about our adventures here: Gidget the Vintage Trailer or follow along on Instagram with #gidgetgoescamping
Merry Christmas from the Lemps!
