Did you dress up as Queen Amidala? If so how did you do her headpiece! I need HELP! I got a red dress from the thrift store, but haven’t figured out how to do the elaborate headpiece.

I’m so sorry that I’m not going to be much help, because I went with a MUCH easier Padme costume! I considered the elaborate red dress and decided it would be too much work. But, here is a link to someone who pulled it off using a pool noodle!: http://kirascraftylife.blogspot.com/2010/10/iron-man.html

I’m thinking that if you have the make-up, which is easy to do, the dress, and maybe just the big hair looking part of the headpiece made out of a pool noodle, OR just do your hair up big in sock buns, everyone will know who you are!

Here is someone who made a cool headpiece out of trash bags and paper plates: http://www.behance.net/gallery/Schoolworks-Queen-Amidala/5598951

or if you can find a mask like this by wednesday, you’ll be all set!: http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Queen-Amidala-Adult/dp/B000QW6SM6/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1351514124&sr=8-3&keywords=queen+amidala+headpiece

I hope you are inspired and figure something out! Have fun!! Please share what you finally decide ;)
