The Story

You may remember this trailer from a few years ago. This was actually the 2nd trailer I ever renovated! We purchased it after selling our beloved vintage trailer, Gidget. We wanted something newer and bigger, and found this Salem Cruise Lite checked all those boxes. The weight made it easy to tow and the because it was so much newer, there weren’t many updates that needed to be done. We made a few minor changes; painted the walls, switched out the couch, added a new power tongue jack and tires to name a few.

We enjoyed a few camping trips with this trailer before deciding we wanted to experience a motorhome! We put it up for sale and a neighbor down the street from us bought it. Fast forward a few years. That same neighbor gave me a call and asked if we would help sell it for her. She hadn’t used it as much as she had hoped, so she wanted to see it go to a new family who could enjoy it!

Because my style has changed quite a bit since owning it last, I knew I would need to do a little updating before selling it again. You can see all the original pictures HERE and the updates I made to it HERE.

We have never owned an event but are looking for something that sleeps at least 5, would prefer a king bed (husband is a slim 6’5”) in a room with a door. We would like bunk beds if possible (ages 2-10. If you are renovating anything that fits the bill, I would be interested.

You make the RV’s look beautiful. My wife and I currently do not own an RV. We have friends and family that do. Most have upgraded their trailer or motor home a few times. I am looking for a used motor home. I live in your hometown of Livonia. Scott B
